The Professional farmer exists in all shapes and sizes, but most are going to fall in the 500 – 3,000 acres category. While they may approach their profession as a business, we can still appeal to them with an agrarian perspective and message. They have employees and seasonal help, but they are actively involved in day-to-day physical production of their corn. They buy products more than they “secure deals.” And they know their products and their acres better than any other segment of corn growers.
